Tour Break.. Messing with iMovie Tempates and Tour Footage.. made this funny video

Hey Ya’ll hope you are doing well. Been a good time tour with Zoogma in the South East. Have a little tour break so I made my first video with iMovie’s funny little templates. This was a the historic Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA. It was a great show with great venue. I didn’t know how to change the audio on the iMove template so it’s just stock music that came with iMovie. Tomorrow I play at AsylumAtlanta GA and then Neighborhood Theatre NC friday and The Pour House SC Saturday before heading home to work on my 2nd live performance at Cervantes‘ Masterpiece in Denver on 2/15! – Pet Out!

Daly City Stencils Found in France!

blekprint

Our friend Dylan Just sent us this documentary of  Blek Le Rat  Stencil Pioneer in France and there was some Daly City Stencils spotted around (21:55 – 21:59).  We are proud to be represented here <3

British graffiti artist Banksy has acknowledged Blek’s influence stating “every time I think I’ve painted something slightly original, I find out that Blek Le Rat has done it as well, only twenty years earlier.”[7] The two have expressed mutual desire for collaboration; in 2011, Blek was seen adding to a mural begun the previous year by Banksy in the Mission District, San Francisco.[8]

Mochipet’s first show in Durango Colorado was a hit! The venue said no dancers on the stage but when the beats hit no one could contain themselves. Who knew this little mountain town could rage so hard on a Wednesday night!

Thanks for getting this on video, Steven Eckelberry!

Far East Movement – Like a G6 (Mochipet Remix)
more on the Far East Movement: Far*East Movement (abbreviated FM) is an electro/hop quartet based in Los Angeles, California, created in 2006. Members Kev Nish (Chinese/Japanese American), Prohgress (Korean American), J-Splif (Korean American), and DJ Virman (Filipino American) represent different generations of Korean, Chinese, and Filipino ancestry within the Asian American community.[1] They put together the first multicultural live music event in Koreatown, Los Angeles to benefit a drug rehabilitation center in the community called “Movementality”.[2] FM’s first claim to fame was their song “Round Round” featured in the Hollywood blockbuster, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and its subsequent soundtrack, video game and DVD. Since “Round Round”, they’ve been featured on various network shows including CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, HBO’s hit show Entourage, Gossip Girl, and Finishing the Game (a featured film at Sundance 2007).[3] They were invited to perform on Power 106’s Powerhouse 2009, one of the biggest Hip-Hop concerts on the west coast, performing with the line-up including Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Sean Paul, New Boyz, Pitbull, Lil Jon, LMFAO, Ya Boy, Flo Rida, and The Black Eyed Peas. Their single “Like a G6” hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and on iTunes as well in late October, 2010[4].
