This past weekend was off the hook, as we sold out of nearly every presale ticket for every show on the VAVA VOOM SPRING TOUR. Full ticket onsale has now commenced. 507 Projex on Mochipet’s Spacezilla EP

Mochipet is back this summer with Spacezilla, a seven-track EP containing three brand new smashers and four remixes courtesy of Minnesota, Udachi, Konekta and Fresh Young Minds & Skulltrane.  Spacezilla starts off larger than a brontosaurus with the track, For When the World Ends–a slow-to-build throwdown that percolates into a laser bass frenzy smartly incorporating a dubstep sound design while remaining wholly independent of the trappings of that genre.

Selling out shows across the country and enjoying international superstar DJ status, Santa Cruz’ Bassnectar has inspired Bay Area bassheads. Two of the best, Mochipet and Minnesota play Temple in SF this Thursday, June 30 to celebrate Mochipet’s Spacezilla EP, released today. The release also features remixes from Udachi, Minnesota and Konekta.
