The Bad Hand is a rad new trio from San Francisco, California. They’ve got quite a few tricks up their sleeves these days. They are drums (David Addison), guitar (Tony Amato) and Rhodes piano (Korben Dallas), for the most part. They like to switch things up a lot by adding other instruments and guests to their line up. The songs off their new album, This Is No Time for Modesty (Daly City/Prankster Dice Records), are a cadenced exploration of melody. Viscous guitar rhythms blend beautifully with the eerie and delicate sound of the Rhodes. The drummer simply has a unique style of his own and changes it up as often as possible.
