Last Friday, F*CK Fridays at the Townhouse hosted Har Mar Superstar, and we were unable to make it. Again as frustrating as this is for us personally, it is also great to know that the likes of Brian McKenna at Abstract Entertainment and DJ Shaun Slaughter are diligently working to bring quality acts through our humble little town despite the obstacles of our governing bodies and our current economic situation.

This weekend we're gonna recommend that you show up at the Townhouse again for the Sacramento Electronic Music Festival. Adam Saake as done an amazing job of pulling together Sacramento's best electronic artists and showcasing them all together over the course of three nights. The line up, worthy of its own link-dump, is listed below. We're fully confident that this will be one of the best shows in Sac over the course of 2010 and if you miss this you will be hearing about it all year, kicking yourself that you did not attend.

Thursday: MochiPet, CityState, Seventh Swami, Thriftcar, Vacant Persons, DJ Whores, DJ Crush Delight, Themookie DJ, DJ 1@N.

Friday: The New Humans, Melee Beats, DJ Shaun Slaughter, DJ John Droll, DJ Roger Carpio, 8 p.m.

Saturday: Tycho, Dusty Brown, Sister Crayon, Tha Fruitbat, MothSpyEros, Homo Erectus, Paper Pistols, Lifeliner, Night Night, Two Playa Game, TheMookieDJ, DJ Mupetblast, 8 p.m.

Bring your dancing shoes; We'll see you there.
